Abstract

Air circulation is a necessity for a room, so that air circulation can run smoothly, a vent or window is needed that can be opened and closed. To get the ideal conditions in the room, the appropriate temperature and humidity are needed, so that the atmosphere in the room becomes cool and comfortable. A humid atmosphere causes the appearance of mould or becomes a place for bacteria and germs to grow. With windows or ventilation, fresh air from nature can enter the room and replace the air in the room. This research makes a tool that can open and close windows automatically using the Dht11 temperature and humidity sensor. The window can open when the room temperature or humidity exceeds the specified limit value or set point, with a temperature of 28oC and humidity of 80%RH. The window will be closed when the temperature and humidity return to the set point value. This tool is controlled by arduino uno which is equipped with an Atmega32 microcontroller program.
