Abstract
Abstract A series of systems where oil is collected, sucked in, and then distributed to engine components to be lubricated is called a lubrication system, which consists of an oil pump, filter, carter, strainer, oil cooler, lubricating valve. The definition of an oil pump is a component of the lubrication system that functions to suck oil from the charter to all moving parts of the engine. The oil pump is driven by the crankshaft. This process aims to determine the type of damage, the cause of the damage and steps to repair the damaged oil pump component. The procedure for checking the damage to the oil pump is by visually checking and disassembly of components to find out which components are damaged. The results of the inspection found a problem in the form of the rocker arm being dry, there was no oil circulating, because the oil pump component was damaged so that the oil pressure was reduced which resulted in the oil supply not rising upwards to the rocker arm. The corrective step is to replace the damaged oil pump component with a new one, for preventive measures to minimize greater damage by means of regular maintenance. Keywords: lubrication system, oil pump, disassembly, oil.
