Abstract
Motivation can be interpreted as a basic impulse that can move a person to enter a process and be able to maintain his behavior until he reaches his goal. Intrinsic motivation is a form of motivation that is contained in a learning activity that is being started and continues to be worked on based on internal impulses related to learning activities. While extrinsic motivation is a form of motivation that is contained in a learning activity that is being started and continues to be done based on external encouragement, and is not absolutely related to learning activities. Extrinsic motivation is motivation that comes from outside a person, this motivation arises because of stimuli from outside the individual. The role of motivation in learning is very important, the role of motivation as a reinforcement in learning, as a motivation to help someone to solve problems faced by the way or the things that have been passed. Motivation also clarifies the purpose of learning to better know the meaning of learning. Strategy shows plans that are prepared in detail in the form of activities, the more designs that are formed, the greater the chance of achieving educational goal
