Abstract

Poverty is the inability from an economic point of view to meet basic food and non-food needs as measured from the expenditure side. The problem of poverty is a problem that is quite important and really needs to be eradicated. This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, unemployment and economic growth on poverty in Central Java Province during the period 2013-2019. The data used in this study is panel data which is a combination of cross section data and time series data from 2013-2019. The analytical method used in this study is the panel data method. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the inflation variable has a significant positive effect on poverty, the economic growth variable has a significant negative effect on poverty, while the unemployment variable has no significant effect on poverty in Central Java Province in 2013-2019.
