Abstract
Abstract, This research aims to understand the practice of commodification of social media behavior depicted through the documentary "The Great Hack". This refers to what actions companies can accommodate big data based on the documentary "The Great Hack". The method used is descriptive qualitative with qualitative content analysis techniques. The population of the research object is the entire shot, dialogue, and narrative voice-over on the documentary "The Great Hack" which allegedly contains the practice of commodifying social media behavior. Purposive data collection techniques, with the criteria of data taken, is every shot that contains the practice of retrieving and utilizing personal data and behavior through social media either with the consent of the user or not. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that in the film "The Great Hack there is worker commodification, audience commodification, and content commodification.
