Abstract
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (CIVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-Cov-2) which spreads throughout the world rapidly and is increasing day by day. In order to reduce the number of COVID-19 cases, it is necessary to promote health for cadres so that they can disseminate information to the public. Based on the Mojosongo Health Center's COVID-19 surveillance data, in October 2021 there was an increase in COVID-19 cases, namely 173 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health promotion on cadre knowledge regarding COVID-19 health protocols. This type of research is a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. The sample in this study was Posyandu health cadres totaling 30 cadres. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with inclusion criteria. Correlation technique using Wilcoxon. The research instruments used were COVID-19 knowledge questionnaires and COVID-19 health protocols. The results showed as many as 3 cadres (10%) had sufficient knowledge and as many as 27 cadres (90%) had good knowledge. The pretest-posttest p-value was obtained 0.001 which means that there is an effect of health promotion on the knowledge of cadres regarding the COVID-19 health protocol.
