Abstract

A travel motor is a mechanical actuator that converts hydraulic flow and pressure into mechanical power. The travel motor is part of a hydraulic system in addition to the hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic pump functions to produce a certain pressure and discharge in a hydraulic system, the hydraulic motor is in charge of converting the hydraulic pressure back into mechanical power. This analysis aims to determine the type of damage to the travel motor, to find out the repairs to the travel motor of the XCMG XE215C excavator. The inspection procedure is carried out visually on the travel motor, then analyzes the type of damage to the travel motor and the factors causing damage to the travel excavator motor. The results of the analysis of damage to the travel motor occur damage to the seal and plate disc because the seal is brittle which results in wear, then on the disc plate. damage occurs in the form of erosion of the disc plate. repair steps taken by replacing damaged components and cleaning all components of dirt.
