Abstract
The success of an education development program can be measured by various indicatars, one of which is the education participation rate. In Indonesia, the education gap in each region is a serious problem. There are variations in the number of schools and junior high school students in Klaten Regency. This variation can be seen from the difference in the number of schools and the number of students between one sub-district and another. The highest number of schools is in North Klaten Regency and Delanggu Regency, while the lowest number of schools is in Kebonarum Regency. Difference in the number of schools, it can be indicated that there are differences in the level of availability of facilities, so that it affects the level of fulfillment and quality. The aims of this research are 1) to analyze the distribution of junior high school education facilities in Klaten Regency, and 2) to analyze the fulfillment of junior high school education facilities in Klaten Regency. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the fulfillment of junior high school education facilities. The results obtained from this study are the distribution pattern of educational facilities in Klaten Regency based on the Average Nearest Neighbor analysis resulting in an even distribution pattern. This is due to the need for educational facilities in areas that are on the outskirts. Meanwhile, the School Participation Rate (APS) in Klaten Regency is quite good, which is 85.8%. The highest APS value is in North Klaten Regency with a value of 185.38, while the lowest APS value is in Kebonarum District with a value of 2.4. This value means that the available educational facilities and infrastructure are evenly distributed in each sub-district according to the number of junior high school students and the population of junior high school age.
