Abstract

Regional original income is income obtained by the region which is collected based on regional regulations in accordance with applicable regulations. Regional original income is a source of income that comes from regional potential and must be empowered. This study aims to estimate the effect of area area, number of workers, consumer price index, and gross regional domestic product on local revenue of 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2020 by using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) multiple regression analysis. The results of the validity of the effect (t test) show that labor and gross regional domestic product have a positive effect on regional original income, while the area area variable has a negative effect on regional original income. Meanwhile, the consumer price index was found to have no effect on local revenue. The Indonesian government and each region are expected to be able to stimulate the economy and maintain stability in the inflation rate or consumer price index in Indonesia. It is hoped that inflation will occur in accordance with the needs of the national economy and increase economic activity and the prices of goods and services can still be reached by the public.
