Abstract

The problem of expensive house and land prices, the fulfillment of housing needs by the community can be done through one way, one of which is by submitting a Home Ownership Credit (KPR) which is bound by an agreement. With the type of mortgage issued by Bank BTN, it will increase the interest of people who want to buy or renovate a house by applying for credit. The method used by the author in this study is a normative approach because in this study the legal aspects related to the implementation of the Home Ownership Credit (KPR) agreement and the form of settlement in the event of a default at Bank BTN Boyolali Branch. The results of this study are that in the implementation of the Home Ownership Credit Agreement (KPR) at Bank BTN Boyolali Branch must go through several stages and must meet both administrative and legal requirements. Administrative requirements are special requirements issued by the Bank and legal requirements are requirements that must be met in accordance with Article 1320 of the Civil Code. And the efforts made by the Boyolali Branch of Bank BTN if the debtor defaults are by way of deliberation for consensus, through BUPLN (State Receivables and Auctions Agency), and through the Court.
