Abstract

This study aims to describe the existence of the destination of the Sangiran Purba Man Museum and the economic impact on the people of Krikilan village, Kalijambe district with the existence of the Sangiran Ancient Man Museum. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research with a case study design. Data collection uses the motto of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use interactive analysis models with stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the wetness of the data using source triangulation and trianggulation techniques. The subject of the study is a source of data in the village of Krikilan and several business actors around the Ancient Man Museum area. The object of research is the existence of the tourist destination of the Sangiran Ancient Man Museum and the economy with the existence of the Sangiran Ancient Man Museum for the people of Krikilan village, Kalijambe district, Sragen regency. The results of this study show that the existence of the Sangiran Ancient Man Museum is very accepted by the people of Krikilan village and the whole element strongly supports its existence. The existence of the Sangiran Ancient Man Museum has a positive impact on improving the economy of the people of Krikilan village, Kalijambe district. This happens because with the existence of the Sangiran Ancient Man Museum, it is able to absorb a lot of labor, creating Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in several sectors or fields.
