Abstract

This study aims to identify the High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) items in the Final Semmester Assessment (PAS) instrument in Sragen Regency for the 2018/2019 Academic Year. This study uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used in content analysis or document analysis. The analysis document is about the Final Assessment of Class V in Sragen and then it is translated according to the provisions of the Final Semmester Assessment (PAS) indicators in Sragen Regency then the results of the data analysis are presented in the form of percent. The source of this research is the quaetion of the Final Assessment of the fifth semester in Sragen which consist of 50 questions. The result of the instrument research show that: the distribution of Indonesian language content at the level C4 is 10 questions (20%), level C5 is 7 questions (14%), level C6 is 8 questions (16%), and based on contextual problems the as many as 3 questions (6%). the content of Natural Sciences distribution level C4 is 5 items (10%), level C5 is 3 items (6%), level C6 as many as 8 items (16%), and based on contextual problems, namely as many as 3 items questions (6%). Thus, the quality of the fifth semester Final Assessment questions in Sragen even semester has “a samll number” of questions including those at the High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) level.
