Abstract

The implementation of distance learning results in teachers and students being required to be able to master technology as a medium in teaching and learning activities, the learning media used must support the teaching and learning process. From the various learning media applications, the Google Classroom application is used. The purpose of the study was to describe the use of learning media with Google Classroom in class XI AKL SMK Negeri 1 Sragen during distance learning. This type of qualitative research with a research approach in the form of case studies. Data obtained from the results of documentation, observation, and interviews. The validity of the data used triangulation analysis with data sources, which had been collected and analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and decision making. The results of the study indicate the use of learning media with Google Classroom as a learning tool during this distance learning: (1) Learners plan to use Google Classroom, namely by preparing learning plans, and preparing learning media. (2) The use of Google Classroom in distance learning is to explain the space used in learning activities, and the strategies and solutions encountered in learning. (3) Evaluation of the use of Google Classroom in distance learning through an assessment room with Google Classroom. In conclusion, the teacher prepares a study room and learning media used for the implementation of learning. In its implementation, it describes the use of assignment rooms needed during learning, as well as evaluating through the assessment room and for the implementation of learning with the Google Classroom learning media.
