Abstract

This research is motivated because the learning of Islamic religious education in formal schools is very short, so the need for learning outside of school which has the same goal, namely in studying the Qur'an. One of the determinants in the learning activities of the Qur'an is the learning strategy. Tahfidz al-Firdaus house is a place for learning the Koran that focuses on reading and memorizing the Koran. This study aims to describe the application of the Qur'anic learning strategy to the sister group at the Tahfidz al-Firdaus Sukoharjo House, as well as to inventory the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the Al-Qur'an learning strategy. The type of research conducted is field research (field research). The approach used is a phenomenological approach. To obtain valid data, the researchers used the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data description, and drawing conclusions. Then to ensure the validity of the data using data triangulation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the Qur'anic learning strategies implemented were: a) The use of classical and sorogan models, b) Organizing, including content selection, time allocation and learning grouping, c) Delivery, including learning media and learning methods, d) ) Management, including learning scheduling, motivation, learning control and evaluation. Then the supporting factors for learning the Qur'an include: a) good quality clerics, b) students who have enthusiasm and seriousness in learning, c) infrastructure, d) learning methods, and a conducive learning environment. While the inhibiting factors are a) the lack of activeness of some educators, b) students who are difficult to condition, c) the spirit of the students who are not stable, d) the background of the students are different, e) the learning time is less effective, and f) there is no attendance list and tahfidz monitoring book for al-Qur'an groups.
