Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the economic impact that appeared on the surrounding community and the transformation of people's livelihoods as a result of the existence of De Tjolomadoe. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews. Informants in this study are selected based on the category of traders who sell around the De Tjolomadoe Museum area with different sales turnovers. The results of this study found that the presence of the De Tjolomadoe museum before the pandemic was able to increase the number of residents who traded around tourist attractions and could increase the sales of local residents, but the Covid-19 pandemic decreased due to the lack of events so that traders only relied on the customers and residents. that passes. The existence of the De Tjolomadoe Museum has resulted in the transformation of the work of the surrounding community which previously depend on the results by opening a shop at home or just managing households, now selling around these tourist attractions.
