Abstract

Logo is a product or an intellectual property that can be submitted for registration to the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights. There are many outstanding cases related to imitation of a logo. A logo is an important aspect in the development of a product. Regarding the logo as the main thing for a product development for business owner, a form of legal protection is needed so that business owner can take care of registering their logo at the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights office. The results of the study stated that the owner of Bledhug Thai Tea said that the brand for the Bledhug Thai Tea logo would not be registered in the near future. However, the owner expressed his desire to maintain and use the brand for the Bledhug Thai Tea logo even though it has not yet been registered. The owner wants to first see the success of his business before applying for trademark registration. If the business producing enough results, then the owner will survive without the right over the legal trademark logo labeled.
