Abstract

This literature review was conducted with the aim of reviewing articles related to the determinants of the quality of health services in hospitals. The study was conducted using a literature review with data sources in the form of original articles published in national/international journals through electronic databases such as Google Scholar with five journals, namely Determinant Factors Associated with Quality of Inpatient Services at RSUD DR. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Makassar in 2013 (Rizwan et al, 2013), Factors Associated with the Quality of Health Services in the Rumkital Inpatient Room DR. Komang Makes Belawan (Lestari, 2019), Factors Relating to the Quality of Health Services at the KIA Poly Hospital of Sabang City Hospital in 2012 (Amna, 2012), Factors Relating to the Quality of Service at Bhayangkara Tebing Tinggi Hospital (Siyen et al, 2020) and Determinants of the Quality of Food Serving Services for Inpatients at the Nutrition Unit of the Bekasi District Hospital in 2015 (Agustin et al, 2016). Based on the results of the research, not all of the five articles contain the complete demographic characteristics of the respondents. The majority of the sample is female with the majority of the respondents' education level being secondary education. The results of the analysis of all articles in this literature review when viewed by age category, most of the respondents are in the 20-50 year category, which is still of productive age. At the place of service four articles in inpatient services and one article in MCH services. The research locations in the five journals in this literature review were carried out in hospitals with different areas. The articles used in this literature review are research articles of the type of quantitative research, the number of samples obtained in this study varies from 74 to 123 respondents. The results of the bivariate analysis between reliability and the quality of health services in hospitals show that there are two literatures, namely Lestari (2019) p-value = 0.002 and Siyen et al (2020) p-value = 0.00 with the results that there is a relationship between reliability and quality of health services in hospitals. hospital. While one study had no relationship, and two other researchers did not conduct research on the category of reliability. The results of the research on the relationship between reliability and the quality of health services in hospitals in this literature review have a significant relationship. Regarding the relationship between the Responsiveness variable (responsiveness) and the quality of health services in hospitals using the bivariate variable test, there is only one study that has a relationship with the responsiveness variable, namely Siyen et al (2020) p-value = 0.041, while the other two studies are not related, namely in Lestari's research (2019), Amna (2012) and one other study did not conduct research. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant relationship between responsiveness and the quality of health services in hospitals. The guarantee variable in three studies, namely Lestari (2019), Siyen et al (2020) and Amna (2012), showed a relationship between insurance and the quality of health services in hospitals, while the other two studies did not conduct research. The results of the research on the relationship between insurance and the quality of health services in hospitals in this literature review have a significant relationship. Lestari's empathy variable (2019) p-value = 0.001, Siyen et al (2020) p-value = 0.001 indicates there is a relationship between the quality of health services, in Amna's research (2012) p-value = 0.000 indicates there is a relationship between empathy and the quality of health services in the hospital. On the Physical Evidence variable with the quality of health services in hospitals, there are three studies that have a relationship, namely Lestari (2019) p-value = 0.003, Siyen et al (2020) p-value = 0.010 and Amna (2012) p-value = 0.036 while two other studies do not do research.
