Abstract

This research is based on the problem of the erosion of adolescent morals that occurs to the occurrence of criminal cases in modern times today. In the village of Glodogan, there is the Glodogan Islamic Youth Organization, one of the Islamic organizations that conducts moral development for teenagers. The organization has been conducting youth moral development for 30 years, this is inseparable from the moral development method used by the organization and the enthusiasm of teenagers and the community that support the organization. From the problem above, the writer conducted a research entitled "The Role of Glodogan Islamic Youth Organization in Youth Moral Development (Case Study in Glodogan Village, South Klaten District, Klaten Regency)." This research is a research that uses a qualitative research paradigm by using data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation. The aims of this study are 1. To describe the role of the Glodogan Islamic Youth organization in fostering adolescent morals in the village of Glodogan. 2. Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Glodogan Islamic Youth organization in fostering adolescent morals in Glodogan village. This research approach uses a phenomenological approach. Data analysis techniques with interactive techniques and data validity techniques with source and method triangulation techniques. The results of this study conclude that the role of the Glodogan Islamic Youth organization in fostering adolescent morals in the village has been going well. There are three roles, namely the role of Islamic youth organizations as informants, the role of Islamic youth organizations as motivators and the role of Islamic youth organizations as facilitators by holding activities that support moral development so that adolescents have good morals towards Allah, themselves, society and the environment. . In its implementation found supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The supporting factors are administrators who have good attitudes and morals and have broad insight into religion, enthusiastic youth and support from teenagers' parents, community, urban villages, Glodogan village youth organizations, PHBI and sponsors who help in the form of personnel, facilities and funds. While the inhibiting factors are the busyness of the administrators and the decreased enthusiasm of teenagers.
