Abstract

Background: Covid-19 in Indonesia is starting to decline and most of the people have received the Covid-19 vaccine, the Ministry of Education has issued a new circular regarding the implementation of face-to-face learning for the 2021/2022 academic year with the implementation of a strict health protocol. This situation makes the feelings of teenagers, especially those who are still in school, confused and anxious. Anxiety conditions in adolescents during this pandemic cannot be allowed because it can affect their development and growth in the future. The Purpose: Knowing the picture of anxiety in adolescents in facing face-to-face learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The Sampling Methods: This study uses quantitative research methods using a descriptive survey approach. The sample in this study amounted to 87 respondents with a sampling technique using accidental sampling technique. Data collection using the BAI (Beck Anxiety Imventory) questionnaire research instrument with a total of 21 statements. The Results: From this study, it was found that the most teenagers experienced mild levels of anxiety in dealing with learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMPN 1 Polanharjo 80 respondents (92.0%). Conclusion: Therefore, it can be concluded that the anxiety level of adolescents at SMP N 1 Polanharjo is mild anxiety
