Abstract
Fulfillment of needs in the form of housing, infrastructure and other supporting facilities through development is seen physically and will slowly change the characteristics of the area. These symptoms can be seen in Kartasura District, with the conversion of land functions (development) towards high settlements and services. The development that occurs unevenly, of course, triggers the emergence of service centers, especially in service facilities to support community activities in it. This can be seen from the availability of facilities within the area itself, such as the availability of economic facilities, educational facilities, religious facilities and health facilities. This means that areas that have complete facilities can be said to be more advanced or have a higher position than areas with lower availability of supporting facilities. Sukoharjo in 2010 and 2019. The objectives to be achieved are (1) Analyzing the distribution pattern and growth rate of settlements in Kartasura District in 2010 and 2019. (2) Analyzing the growth and service centers of socio-economic facilities in Kartasura District from 2010 and 2015. 2019. (3) Analyzing the relationship of settlement growth to growth and service centers based on facilities in Kartasura District from 2010 and 2019. Indirect survey method by utilizing remote sensing data and secondary data in the form of social facilities economy. The data processing techniques are on screen digitization, overlays, and scalogram formulas with the coefficient of reproducibility formula. The analysis technique uses the nearest neighbor, and Pearson correlation. The results obtained that the growth of settlements in Kartasura District shows a Clustered pattern, with a Z-Score value of -13. The difference in the growth of settlements in Kartasura District is largely influenced by the availability of land. The assumption is that if the village has a large area of non-built land, it is likely to experience relatively higher growth. This is reinforced by the direction of land change, most of which comes from agricultural areas, especially irrigated rice fields. Coupled with villages that have the availability of facilities and infrastructure or complete socio-economic facilities, regional development will be faster. That's because basically people tend to choose a place to live that is easy to reach facilities to support activities. Service centers are influenced by the level of completeness and number of socio-economic facilities in an area, as well as the growth of the facilities themselves associated with facilities built by the government, facilities built by the community and facilities that follow the road network. The growth rate of settlements with service centers of socio-economic facilities in Kartasura District is 0.364, which means that it does not show a significant positive relationship or a weak relationship. In other words, the growth rate of settlements does not always lead to an increase in orders or an increase in services, especially socio-economic facilities.
