Abstract

Today's social gathering is not only in the form of money, there are many forms of social gathering that people are interested in. Arisan is an economic activity that is often carried out by the people of Indonesia, this activity has many versions and various forms according to the surrounding environmental conditions. Almost the entire scope of the country recognizes what is called social gathering, starting from money gathering, motorcycle gathering, car gathering, cellphone social gathering, sacrificial gathering and many more. This research is included in the type of field research (Field Research) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The research location is at Arisan CAHAYA MOTOR. The subjects in this study were the committee from CAHAYA's social gathering and CAHAYA's arisan participants. The method used in this research is observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are the view of Islamic law on the motorcycle social gathering system at CAHAYA's social gathering, the law is not allowed/haram because some of the ways in this social gathering system are not in accordance with Islamic rules that have been set when buying and selling auctions. For example, an object that is an auction item is not included at the time of the auction, which in Islam there must be an auction object at the time the auction takes place.
