Abstract

The Aqidah Akhlak subject aims to develop aqidah through giving, fertilizing, appreciation, habituation, and experiences of students about Islamic moral aqidah so that noble humans are realized and avoid despicable acts in everyday life both in individual and social life as a manifestation of the teachings of values. - Islamic Aqidah values. The position of human morality is the most important feature of the place, morality as a characteristic of a society. The importance of Islamic religious education, especially Aqidah Akhlak education, as a background, the authors want to know more about how the role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers is in forming children's personalities, as well as how the materials and methods are used, so that students can develop and have a religious personality. The research carried out is field research or what is called field research. The approach taken by the researchers in this study is a qualitative approach. The role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers in shaping the personality of students in Man Pacitan is carried out in several ways, including by teachers who are fair to students, teachers try to increase and develop the potential of students, provide motivation, encouragement, support, which is carried out on an ongoing basis. The role of the teacher as a facilitator makes students able to develop their potential freely, forming the personality of students who are brave because they are right. The efforts of MAN Pacitan teachers in shaping the personality of students are through 3S refraction, refraction of dhuha and dhuhur prayers in congregation, reading short surahs, reading prayers, and being disciplined.
