Abstract

The principal is a leader in a school who must have several skills in order to carry out his function properly, one of his skills is managerial. The principal's managerial skills in managing finances, human resources, and infrastructure determine the course of education at SMK Negeri 1 Bulukerto. This study aims to analyze the managerial skills of the principal in managing finance, infrastructure, and human resources at SMK Negeri 1 Bulukerto Wonogiri. This type of research is ethnographic qualitative with data collection methods using in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The data validity technique in this study used source triangulation. The results of the research are: (1) The principal of SMK N 1 Bulukerto has managerial skills as a principal in managing finances by planning the school's financial needs in accordance with the school development plan both for the short term and for the long term, seeking financial sources other than the BOP and BOS is a service and production unit that is managed by the department, coordinates financial financial expenditures according to the RKAS by the procurement team and coordinates financial reporting activities on a quarterly basis. (2) The principal of SMK N 1 Bulukerto has managerial skills in managing the infrastructure by planning the needs of school facilities in accordance with the school development plan, then managing the procurement and maintenance of facilities, both preventive maintenance and maintenance of damage to school facilities, and then taking an inventory of school facilities and infrastructure according to the bookkeeping system. apply and manage the activities of removing school inventory items. (3) The head of SMK N 1 Bulukerto has managerial skills in managing human resources by planning the needs of teachers and staff based on the school development plan, carrying out the recruitment and selection of teachers and staff, managing professional coaching and development activities for teachers and staff, managing the provision of welfare to teachers and staff but inadequate in carrying out inter-agency transfers.
