Abstract

Education is one of the important factors to advance a nation. Through good education, new things are obtained so that they can be used to create quality human resources. A nation if it has quality human resources, of course, is able to build its nation to be more advanced. Therefore, every nation should have a good and quality education. In Sragen Regency, school development is still focused on several sub-districts, such as Sragen and Gemolong sub-districts so that it must have good accessibility with public transportation in Sragen Regency. Therefore, it is necessary to study the distribution pattern and accessibility of public transportation. This study aims to 1 analyze the distribution pattern of SMA, SMK, MA in Sragen Regency 2 Analyze the accessibility of public transportation to SMA, SMK, MA in Sragen Regency. The method in this research is a survey which is supported by secondary data analysis. The survey was conducted to determine the location of the school building. Data analysis was carried out on the data that had been obtained, including quantitative descriptive analysis, Nearest Neighbor analysis or nearest neighbor analysis to determine distribution patterns and buffer analysis to determine the reach of public transportation to schools. The data used are location point data for SMA, SMK, MA in Sragen Regency, data on public transportation routes in Sragen Regency. The results of this study are the distribution pattern of SMA clustered (clustered), SMK clustered (clustered), and MA random (random). Factors that influence the distribution pattern of SMA and SMK are distributions based on population density. Meanwhile, the distribution of MA is random because the number of schools is only 9 at the district level with irregular distances. Accessibility of public transportation in Sragen Regency for SMA 90%, SMK 82%, MA 55% has high accessibility. SMA 10%, SMK 9%, MA 50% have moderate accessibility. SMA 0%, SMK 9%, MA 45% have low accessibility. The location of facilities in Sragen Regency is mostly located on the main road as access to make it easier to get educational services
