Abstract
The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia resulted in a Sharia Financial Institution being affected. One of them is Baitul Mal Wat Tamwil (BMT) which plays a role in advancing the economy, especially in the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This causes the emergence of risk in all its business activities. Therefore, BMT must be able to face the risks that arise by minimizing the risks so that losses do not arise. This study aims to determine the risks in the futures mudharabah deposit product and the implementation of risk management for the future mudharabah deposit product (SIJAKA) during the COVID- 19 pandemic at KSPPS BMT Makmur Mandiri Wirun Mojolaban Sukoharjo. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation, while secondary data was obtained through library research. The stages of data analysis using an interactive model, namely the results of interviews, observations, and documentation obtained are summarized so that they are easy to understand. As well as the components of the interactive model, namely data reduction, data presentation and final conclusions drawn. The results of this study explain that the risks in SIJAKA products are non-business risk and business risk. Business risk includes strategic risk, reputation risk, and operational risk. BMT Makmur Mandiri in minimizing these risks by implementing risk management, namely risk identification, risk measurement, risk monitoring, and risk control. The purpose of implementing risk management is to overcome if a risk arises in the implementation of SIJAKA products. So that BMT Makmur Mandiri can run its business smoothly and develop well.
