Abstract
The focus of this research is to examine how the implementation of Islamic business ethics in buying and selling transactions at traders in the traditional market of Karangdowo village, Klaten Regency. This type of research is a qualitative method. The study used primary data sources and secondary data. The primary data in this study were obtained through interviewing researchers who would be asked to respondents, namely traditional market traders in Karangdowo village, Klaten district. Secondary data in this study were obtained from literature studies that support research writing, as well as obtained from books, journals, theses, the internet and various literatures relevant to this research. In this study, data analysis used descriptive and deductive analysis. The results of the study show the implementation of Islamic business ethics by traders in the Karangdowo market, Klaten Regency, that new traders apply Islamic business ethics such as being loose and generous, building good relations between colleagues, orderly administration, and setting prices transparently.
