Abstract

Agricultural commodities in Indonesia that have added value and potential for highly developed is corn. Corn is the largest needs after the rice, both the needs of livestock feed or as industrial raw material processed. The amount of corn production in Indonesia from year to year has increased, so the export of maize diversity has increased as well. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the export of corn in Indonesia. The data used in this study is secondary time series data (time series) from 1990 until 2013. The analytical tool used in this study is Error Correction Model (ECM) regression model. Based on the results of ECM analysis showed that corn production has a significant positive impact in the short term and an insignificant positive impact in the long term. National corn consumption has an insignificant negative impact in the short term and a significant negative impact in the long term. The inflation rate has an insignificant positive impact in the short term and a significant negative impact in the long term. The exchange rate has an insignificant positive impact in the short run and insignificant negative impact in the long run.
