Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know: 1) the influence of teacher professionalism on teacher performance, 2) influence of headmaster leadership on teacher performance, 3) influence of teacher professionalism and principal leadership on teacher performance. The type of research used is associative quantitative. The population in this study were all teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Andong academic year 2016/2017 which amounted to 50 teachers. Data collection techniques using questionnaires that have been tested by testing with validity and reliability test. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression, t test, F test, relative donation and effective contribution. The result of data analysis obtained by linear line equation Y = 28,887 + 0,372X1 + 0,226X2. The conclusions that can be drawn from this research are: 1) teacher professionalism have positive and significant effect to teacher performance. This is evident from the result of t test that obtained t count> ttable that is 3,919> 2,012 (α = 5%) and significance value <0,05 is 0,000; 2) the leadership of the principal has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. This is evident from the results of t test that obtained t count> ttable is 3.175> 2.012 (α = 5%) and significance value <0.05 is 0.001; 3) teacher professionalism and principal leadership have a positive and significant impact on teacher performance. This is evident from the results of the F test that obtained Fcount> Ftable is 6.617> 3.20 at 5% significance level. 4) variable X1 gives relative contribution equal to 52,86% and effective contribution equal to 29,44%, variable X2 give relative contribution equal to 47,14% and effective contribution equal to 26,26%. The result of the calculation for the value of R2 obtained 0,557 which means 55,7% teacher performance influenced by teacher professionalism and leadership of principal, the rest equal to 44,3% influenced by other variable not examined in this research.
