Abstract
DEPARTEMEN OF NUTRITION SCIENCE FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCE MUHAMMADIYAH UNIVERSITY OF SURAKARTA SCIENTIFIC PAPER ABSTRACT Hema Nur Alifah Septiana. J 300 120 019 RELATED KNOWLEDGE OF HYPERTENSION, FAT AND SODIUM INTAKE WITH NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN ELDERLY INTEGRATED SERVICE POST, GONILAN, KARTOSURO Introduction: The elderly is very important and needs serious attention. If at this age the nutritional status of the elderly are not considered properly, then the future may lead to a disruption of nutritional status. Factors that affect the nutritional status there are two factors of indirect and direct factors. Indirect factors including poverty, education, and knowledge which affect the availability of food and health services. Direct factors include infection and food intake. Objective: To determine the relationship of knowledge about hypertension, fat and sodium intake and nutritional status in elderly integrated service post, gonilan, Kartosuro. Method: The study was descriptive observational cross-sectional method. Hypertension knowledge of the data obtained from interviews using questionnaires. Weight data obtained by measuring the weight using scales stampede to the nearest 0.1 kg. Height data obtained directly by measuring the height using microtoise to the nearest 0.1 cm. Data intake levels of fat and sodium intake obtained directly via the form recall 24 hours ago. Data obtained through the formula nutritional status body mass index (BMI). To examine the relationship between variables used Spearman Rank test and Pearson Product Moment, the hypothesis was accepted if p <0.05. Results: The statistical test of Rank Spearman correlation between knowledge about hypertension and nutritional status showed ap value of 0.259 (p> 0.05). Statistical test Pearson product moment correlation between fat intake and nutritional status showed ap value of 0755 (p> 0.05). Rank Spearman statistical test of the relationship between sodium intake and nutritional status showed ap value of 0.399 (p> 0.05). Conclusion: There is no correlation between knowledge of hypertension, fat and sodium intake and nutritional status of elderly village diposyandu Gonilan, Kartosuro Keywords: Knowledge of hypertension, fat intake, sodium intake, nutritional status.
