Abstract
Students work part-time to fill in activities outside of class hours. Apart from having a positive impact, it turns out that working part time also has a negative impact because it tends to cause stress, which has an impact on psychological well-being. These problems cannot be resolved or will get bigger when they lack social support and hardiness. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of testing whether there is a relationship between social support and hardiness and psychological well-being in part-time working students. The hypothesis in this research is that there is a relationship between social support and hardiness and psychological well-being in part-time working students. The sampling method is accidental sampling with the subjects of this research being 209 students who work part time in Surakarta. Variable measurement uses a scale, and data analysis uses multiple linear regression. The research results show that Social Support and Hardiness play a very significant role in Psychological Well-being (F value = 174.850, with p < 0.01); social support has a very significant positive correlation with psychological well-being (r= 0.591, p, 0.01); and hardiness has a very significant positive correlation with psychological well-being (r= 0.771, p, 0.01).
