Abstract

Land transportation is a popular choice for the general public. Popularly used by the public are two-wheeled vehicles or commonly called motorbikes. Ranging from children to adults can ride it (may not necessarily be allowed). Rules in traffic are explained in Law No. 22 of 2009. Law No. 22 of 2009 explains traffic rules, traffic requirements, and others. The condition for someone to be allowed to traffic or drive on the highway is that they already have a driving license or what is commonly called a SIM. Based on the provisions of Article 81 paragraph (1) of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, everyone who wants to get a SIM must meet age, administrative, health requirements, and pass an exam. Based on the provisions of the Article,then the child is not allowed to drive the vehicle motorbikes or four-wheeled vehicles because they do not meet the regulatory requirements. Child is someone who is not yet 18 (eighteen) years old.The approach method used in this study is a qualitative approach method, namely a method that emphasizes understanding and deepening a problem regarding traffic violations committed by child drivers by traffic police officers. The data collection method used by the authors in this study was by through interviews and observations
