Abstract

Service quality can be indicated by patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction is influenced by patient expectations for the services provided, psychological factors, and overall health status. This study aims to analyze the influence of sociodemography and service quality on patient satisfaction at the Central Surgery Installation of Dr Moewardi Regional General Hospital Surakarta. The research method used is observational analytic with purposive sampling technique. Sociodemographic variables consist of gender, age, last education and number of visits and service quality is measured from three aspects, namely OPD service, reception in the operating room and postoperative management in the ward. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis and structural equation modeling with SPSS and SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that: 1) gender, age, and last education had no effect on patient satisfaction; 2) the last education has a significant effect on patient satisfaction. 3) OPD Service has a significant effect on patient satisfaction; 4) Acceptance in the operating room and postoperative management have no effect on patient satisfaction
