Abstract

Along with the development of urban activities, one of the impacts that arise is the problem of settlements. Kutai Kartanegara Regency was appointed as one of the plans to move the capital apart from Penajam Pasir Utara. Indi-rectly, the area of Kutai Kartanegara Regency will experience changes both socially and economically. The Tenggarong District area, which is the district capital of the Kutai Kartanegara Regency, will definitely be in the spotlight and a destination for immigrants. Drones are drones that are controlled re-motely. An unmanned aircraft or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), is a flying machine that functions remotely controlled by the pilot or is able to control itself, uses the laws of aerodynamics to lift itself, can be reused and is capa-ble of carrying payloads of both weapons and equipment. and other loads. Drones are aircraft without a pilot. The aircraft is controlled automatically through a computer program designed, or via remote control from the pilot on the ground or in another vehicle. The purpose of this study is to analyze the distribution of the quality level of the residential environment in Tengga-rong City based on the determining parameters interpreted from aerial pho-tography and to analyze what factors have the most influence on the quality of the residential environment in the research area. The research method used in this study is a combination of aerial photog-raphy interpretation techniques and fieldwork techniques. The interpretation technique is used to tap information on the variable of the quality of the res-idential environment, which consists of building density, building layout, road width, protective trees, road surface conditions, quality of building roofs and residential locations. Field work is needed to match the interpreta-tion results with the actual situation in the field. The research sampling tech-nique was simple random sampling. The results of the research on the Analy-sis of the Quality of the Settlement Environment in the City of Tenggarong using Aerial Photography with Drone Vehicles showed that the area includ-ed in the good quality class category was an area of 47, 076 Ha with a per-centage level of 10% of the area of the residential block of the research area. For good quality residential blocks, the distribution is in Timbau Village, to-taling 2 blocks, Malay Village 2 blocks, Su-karame Village 2 blocks and Loa Ipuh Village 3 blocks. Meanwhile, in Panji village, the quality of the residen-tial neighborhoods was not found to be of good grade. The Medium Quality Settlement Class is the most common residential class in the City of Tengga-rong District with an area of 412,694 Ha or 89%. With details, there are 22 blocks in Timbau Village, 26 blocks of Malay Village, 7 blocks of Panji Vil-lage, 3 blocks of Sukarame Village and 21 blocks of Loa Ipuh Village. In the town of Tenggarong sub-district there is only 1 (one) quality of poor quality residential environment found in the Loa Ipuh sub-district. The most domi-nant factors that affect the quality of good settlements are layout, road con-ditions, location of settlements and protective trees. These four factors af-fect the quality class of good settlements.
