Abstract

Hospital business competition which is increasingly competitive both nationally and internationally requires organizations to manage their human resources well because employees are a valuable asset for the organization to achieve the desired goals. The purpose of this research was aim to determine how the effect of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on employee performance through the work environment as a moderating variable for non-medical employees atRegional Public Hospital Jombang.Population and sample are all 100 employees.The method used in this research is survey, while the type of research is classified as explanatory research. The method of data collection used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Dataanalysis in this research using instrument tests, hypothesis testing, Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) tests, and classical assumption testsare assisted by the use of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) data processing tools.The results of this study showed thatJob satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work environment as a moderating variable can increase the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance, and work environment as a moderating variable can increase the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance at Regional Public Hospital Jombang
