Abstract

Crawler excavator is one of the heavy equipment that is often used because it has high flexibility. The technology that is currently developing on excavators has a control valve to move the attachment, where the technology controls it electrically through the solenoid valve assy. When viewed from its function, the solenoid valve assy is an important component of a crawler excavator, when there is damage to the solenoid valve assy it will result in all attachments being unable to move. Therefore, this analysis aims to determine the damage that occurs to the solenoid valve assy. By checking starting from performance tests, system wiring harness, and resistance. The analysis results show that the resistance value is 0Ω. Therefore, the solenoid valve assembly is damaged on the inside that cannot be repaired, so the corrective step is to replace the part with a new one.
