Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has occurred throughout the world, including parts of Indonesia, which has an impact on various aspects of life and affects various groups of people. Teachers as one of the community groups who feel the impact of the pandemic. The pandemic has hit the quality of life of teachers in Indonesia, especially in the Central Java region, causing their quality of life to decline. This study aims to investigate the quality of life of teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic so that the researcher's questions can be answered regarding "How is the quality of life of teachers in Central Java during the pandemic?". The subjects in this study were 125 teachers in Central Java who were actively teaching during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used to collect data is by distributing the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire via the Google form link. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. Based on research conducted, it shows that the quality of life of teachers in Central Java during the COVID-19 pandemic was 58.4% good, 24.8 mediocre and 4% poor. In the physical health domain, 65.6% of teachers have a moderate level of physical health, 52% show moderate psychological health. In the social relations domain, 48% are moderate and 53.6% indicate a good environmental domain. This shows that despite the pandemic, teachers in Central Java still have a good quality of life. This study is expected to provide knowledge for teachers in Central Java, so that teachers can maintain their quality of life. This research is expected to be the basis for the development of knowledge, especially regarding the quality of life of teachers and become the basis for policy making for teachers.
