Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that can display virtual (virtual) objects in the real world in real-time. This study presents an application and marker in the form of a puzzle where the application and marker in the form of a puzzle can interact with students through animation presented in the form of AR. The purpose of this research is to create and develop learning media for the introduction of the Motherboard and its functions using interactive Augmented Reality technology for class X TKJ SMK students. The method used by the researcher is Research and Development (R & D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection techniques were used in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Meanwhile, to determine the feasibility of learning media using the results of the assessment of 2 media experts, 0.83 is valid because it is by the Aiken V table, and the reliability test results are stated to be strong with 0.719 results. While the results of the assessment of the 2 material experts are 0.84 including valid because they are by Aiken V table, and the results of the reliability test are stated to be strong with the results of 0.814. While the results of the total respondents multiplied by the SUS score obtained from testing 62 students. The average results of the pre-test and post-test of the control class students were 66.84 and 72.90, while the average results of the pre-test and post-test tests of the experimental class were 69.97 and 92.06. It can be concluded that AR learning media using the introduction of Motherboard learning media and its functions is appropriate for learning computer assembly, and is effective in helping increase student interest in learning computer assembly.
