Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, the number of workers, and the minimum wage level on economic growth in districts/cities in Central Java. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of panel data, panel data is a combination of time series and cross-section data. Source of data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The dependent variable in this study is the Economic Growth of Districts and Cities in Central Java Province in 2012-2020. The independent variables in this study are inflation (INF), labor (TK), and the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP). The results showed that the provincial minimum wage and labor had a positive effect on economic growth, while inflation did not affect economic growth. Economic changes in Java in 2012-2020 98% can be explained by inflation, labor, and minimum wages while the rest is explained by other variables outside the model. Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that the Manpower Office can increase labor productivity with training so that economic growth can increase. This research is also expected to be used as a reference for future research.
