Abstract

Drought vulnerability is very important to identify by being associated with community adaptation patterns to drought disasters to find out how the level of drought in an area is and how the community adapts to drought disasters and one of them is in Blora Regency which has a high level of vulnerability to drought disasters so that it has an impact. bad for the people of Blora Regency. The purpose of this research is to analyze 1). Analyzing the level of vulnerability to drought in Blora Regency 2). Analyzing the pattern of community adaptation to drought in Blora Regency. The research method used is a geographic information system and an interview survey of the community. The research method used is a geographic information system and an interview survey of the community. The sampling method was carried out by cluster random sampling.. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that 1) the majority of areas in Blora Regency are drought-prone areas, there are 9 sub-districts which are included in very severe drought, namely Tunjungan District, Blora City Jepon, Bogorejo, Banjarejo, Sambong, Kedungtuban, Randublatung, Kradenan. 2). The pattern of community adaptation to drought disaster is classified into two, namely 1) understanding of drought disaster 2). Community adaptation strategy to drought disaster.
