Abstract

Learning cannot be separated from the role of a teacher, especially with the change from face-to-face learning to distance learning in the era of the covid 19 pandemic. This is a new challenge for educators during the pandemic by optimizing learning through online media so that the learning process can run according to the objectives education. This study aims to describe (1) the implementation of the Mathematics Village Program for elementary school students in Bandardawung Village, Tawangmangu District, Karanganyar Regency; (2) the learning outcomes of SD N 1 Bandardawung students after participating in the Mathematics Village Program in Bandardawung Village, Tawangmangu District, Karanganyar Regency. The research uses qualitative methods with descriptive design. The resource persons involved were teachers, village mathematician volunteer educators, and students. Data collection techniques with interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, then drawing conclusions/verification. The validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of this study indicate that Kampung Mathematics can improve student learning outcomes in learning mathematics.
