Abstract

The development and advancement of technology is increasing, thus spurring human resources to be able to manage work by utilizing technology. PT. Hadi Mulyo Raya Sragen is one of the companies engaged in land transportation services, especially in the rental sector. The high demand, especially on school holidays, is very tiring because data collection is still done manually using books which can cause human error. In the rental process, customers must also visit the company directly to find out the type and availability of buses. With these obstacles, the purpose of this final project is to develop a bus rental information system that can facilitate employees and customers in conducting rental transactions. This website-based system uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method using the waterfall model. The software used is Windows, XAMPP, MySQL, Visual Studio Code, and Browsers as well as the required hardware such as a laptop. This research produces a rental system that can help employees simplify the process of data collection, search and payment so that companies can provide faster and more accurate services. Customers will also find it easier to get bus information without having to come directly to the company, thus saving time and costs. Based on testing the results of research using a black box system can run with its functionality. The results of the UAT test showed the average score was 91.8%. This system is able to simplify the transactio process and data collection.
