Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of organizational commitment and motivation on employee performance in the Masaran batik industry, Sragen, Central Java. This research method is multiple regression analysis method with a quantitative approach. The sampling method is a saturated sample method with the data source used is the primary data source. The population or research object selected were all members, both employees and owners of the Brotojoyo batik industry, Dewi Ratih, and Aluna batik. The total sample is 53 people with different genders, ages, and years of service. The method of data collection is by distributing questionnaires in the form of a paper questionnaire. In the analytical test the instrument uses validity and reliability tests. In testing the hypothesis using linear regression analysis, t test, and F test. While in the classical assumption test using normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. The test tool used is SPSS 2.3. The results showed that organizational commitment had a positive significant effect on employee performance. Motivation has a negative sigificant effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment simultaneously with motivation has a positive effect on employee performance.
