Abstract

School is a place of learning for children and adolescents who will gain knowledge that they have not received. The learning period at school is a time when knowledge will be conveyed by the teacher in accordance with the subjects being taught. Teachers play an important role in the learning of their students, where the teacher gives a question in each lesson. There is a possibility that students are not clear about the material that has been explained. School assignments given by teachers are often forgotten by students. This can make students not ready to do evaluations by their teachers in the form of tests or final exams. This study aims to determine the level of student activity in each lesson to gain knowledge that will be used to prepare for the test or final exam that will be held by the teacher and school. The method used is the Nave Bayes method by going through the research stages including preparing student data, data analysis, data collection, preprocessing, Nave Bayes implementation, and testing. The results of dataset processing with 60% of data retrieval for training data and 40% of testing data using the nave Bayes method will produce an average value with 57.29% accuracy, 63.04% precision, and 59.13% recall. Thus, in data collection, there is an imbalance between training and testing data, resulting in a low level of accuracy.
