Abstract

This study aims to determine the motives and satisfaction of subscribers watching Otodriver videos on Youtube. The population of this research is subscribers watching Otodriver videos on Youtube, totaling 1,050,000 subscribers (March 2021). Based on the Slovin formula, the sample size is 100 respondents. The data collection method used a questionnaire (google form) which was measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis methods used are: descriptive statistics, data quality tests consisting of validity and reliability tests, satisfaction analysis by comparing and calculating the difference between motives (Gratification Sought) and real satisfaction (Gratification Obtained).The conclusions of this study are subscribers have a high motive for watching Otodriver videos on Youtube with an average of 3.92 on a Likert scale of 1 - 5. The biggest motive is looking for information which is encouraged to easily find information about the ins and outs of automotive, subscribers have a high motive for watching Otodriver videos on Youtube with an average of 3.92 on a Likert scale of 1 - 5. The biggest motive is looking for information which is driven by easy looking for information about the ins and outs of automotive, the comparison of the average motive score (Gratification Sought) and real satisfaction (Gratification Obtained) results in Gratification Obtained being greater than Gratification Sought, so this shows that the Otodriver video on Youtube gives satisfaction to subscribers.
