Abstract
The ability to think creatively is a creative thinking activity that is expected to find a result, namely creativity. Students' creative thinking ability is very important in order to improve learning outcomes in students. In most students, the ability to think creatively is still said to be very low. The ability to think creatively in students can still be developed by training themselves and getting used to working on problems in mathematics in particular. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the creative thinking abilities of eighth grade junior high school students in solving circle problems in terms of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. This descriptive qualitative research was carried out on class VIIIA students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten. Data collection techniques used are learning style questionnaires, creative thinking ability tests, and interviews. The validity of the data is done by technical triangulation. The results of this study indicate students' creative thinking skills in terms of learning styles. Each student with a different learning style has a different Creative Thinking Ability Level (TKBK). Students with visual learning styles can achieve TKBK level 2 (quite creative) by fulfilling the novelty indicator. Students with auditory learning styles can also achieve TKBK level 2 (quite creative) by meeting the indicators of novelty. Students with kinesthetic learning styles are able to achieve TKBK level 4 (very creative) by meeting the indicators of fluency, flexibility, and novelty.
