Abstract

The development of technology in this era modern is very fast. Utilization of learning media in learning to read hours and time can help the process of teaching and learning activities so that learning becomes interesting. But at this time in learning still uses conventional methods only with the help of textbooks. The researcher aims to make learning media to read hours and time based on edugame to attract students' interest in learning and understanding in learning. Edugames are used in learning applications to attract students. This research uses R&D research methods (Research and Development). The results will be tested using material test validation, media testing, and feasibility tests. The expected result of this research is that students are interested in learning and understanding in learning. The media was tested to get a response from the user, the first was tested on 2 lecturer at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta the result is the average coefficient V media experts of 0.78 which was declared valid. Media expert reliability test results obtained a value of 0.730 and declared strong reliability. Whereas tested on 2 teaching teachers at SD Negeri 2 Puguh and obtained an average value of coefficient V for material experts of 0.86 which was declared valid. The results of the material expert reliability test obtained a value of 0.702 and declared strong reliability. The results of the interpretation test of the percentage of tests carried out by 3 respondents or students obtained a percentage value of 69% which was included in the "Agree" category. The results of the user interpretation test conducted by all 1st grade students of SD Negeri 2 Puguh obtained a percentage value of 70% which was included in the "Agree" category.
