Abstract

This study aimed to (1) Developing website-based instructional media in flood disaster mitigation materials in SMA Islam 1 Surakarta, (2) Finding out the feasibility of website-based instructional media in flood disaster mitigation materials In SMA Islam 1 Surakarta. This research was a research and development with a development model by Thiagarajan 4D model design modified into a 3D model (Define, Design, Development). The design of this study used 2 teachers and 33 learners. Data collection techniques used questionnaires that are shared online by Google Forms. The results showed that (1) define contained the need test of teachers and learners, the model of the website design has been analyzed according to the needs test, and the development contained validation to know the product is proper to use. (2) Website-based learning media flood disaster mitigation materials developed have met the eligibility criteria in expert trials getting a score of 4.4 which is done product validation by media experts with the category "very feasible" and 4.1 based on validation by experts of "decent" category materials. The results of the media eligibility assessment were obtained from 33 students as respondents with a score of 4.1 and 2 geography teachers as respondents got a score of 3.9 with an average score of 4.0 which is included in the "Worthy" category.
