Abstract

Introduction: Complete decline in the proteins in chronic kidney disease patients because kidney function worsens. The CAPE of propoelix excrements as an inhibitor of oxidative stress capable of preventing production of ROS (reactive oxigen species) so that damage to cells can be avoided by neutralizing free radicalists, resulting in a GGK repair with a total rise in protein levels. Objective: This study aimed to identify how propoelix affected the total serum protein in strain wistar albino rat of chronic kidney disease model. Methodology of Research: This type of research was true design with pre-test-the post-test control design group. Researchers used a sample of 28 rats that were divided into 4 groups. K1 (negative control), k2 (positive induced with acetaminophen 1 gr/ KgBW/day), k3 (induced with acetaminophen 1 gr/ KgBW/day and treated propoelix as much as 0.0216 gr/200 rat/day), and k4 (induced with acetaminophen 1 gr/ KgBW/day and treated propoelix as much as 0.0432 gr/200 rat/day). Controlling acetaminophen did 14 days while treatment propoelix does 21 days. Total protein removal using photometric test for red pyrogallol's method test. The analysis test used the parametric one-way test of anova. Results: Results had shown a significant increase (p<0.01) in the total protein serum in strain wistar albino rat of chronic kidney disease model treated propoelix dose 0.0216 gr and 0.0432 gr. In treatment groups 0.0432 gr had increased 2.07 mg/dl while the treatment of 0.0216 gr had increased 0.9 mg/dl. Conclusion: Propoelix proportionate doses 0.0216 gr as well as 0.0432 gr/200 gr rat/day were affecting total protein enhancing the total protein serum in strain wistar albino rat of chronic kidney disease model.
