Abstract

The subject of recognizing early literacy in the material of letters and numbers is a material that requires students to recognize and memorize the shapes and ways of reading the letters of the alphabet and numbers. Problems arise because students find it difficult to memorize letters and shapes of the alphabet and numbers, one of the reasons is the conventional learning process and the impact of distance learning (PJJ) during the covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, it is necessary to have interactive media based on android games to facilitate student learning. This study aims to develop game-based learning media and test the feasibility of learning media on letter and number recognition materials in Kindergarten. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of the study showed that media experts obtained a feasibility percentage of 89% in the "very feasible" category, the results of material experts obtained a percentage of 77% in the "adequate" category, the results of the feasibility test conducted by five students obtained a percentage of 79% in the " feasible" to be used as a learning medium.
