Abstract

Regional expansion is the separation of an area into several independent parts. Regional expansion occurs because of the inability of the government to serve the community optimally because of the vast area in addition to other supporting facilities and infrastructure. The purpose of this research is to analyze the location of the expansion of the region in the research area. The methods in this research are secondary data collection methods and data analysis methods by scoring to determine the determination of new sub-districts, by calculating the quota and the average method. This paper describes the location of regional expansion in Boyolali Regency. Analysis of the location of regional expansion in Boyolali Regency based on the priorities, feasibility, and feasibility of the area. The results in this study are based on the administrative, physical and technical feasibility of the three sub-districts worthy of expansion. With a total score of each sub-district, Ampel District is VERY ABLE with a score of 464, Musuk District is VERY ABLE to a total score of 476, and Wonosegoro District is CAPABLE with a total score of 410.
